Bike and Bus the Avenues

Join us on a bike and bus ride down Lafayette and Dekalb Avenues to advocate for a comprehensive street redesign of the two avenues! We want to hear from you about what would improve this connection between Downtown Brooklyn, Bed Stuy, Bushwick, and beyond.

We’ll roll out from the intersection of Lafayette and Flatbush Ave, ride down the bike lane on Lafayette Avenue until Broadway, and then ride the B38 on Dekalb Avenue back to Fort Greene Park for a collective conversation on necessary street safety improvements.

Come connect with local cyclists and bus riders and share your experience to inform a street redesign that promotes faster bus times, increased cycling infrastructure, and safer connecting routes for all!
